As a business development specialist, you will execute demand creation campaigns, event promotion and find qualified leads in order to support our clients sales force. More specifically:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain business relationships with company directors for our clients’ accounts that will lead to worthwhile and qualified leads (by phone and email)
- Record fully qualified sales leads in the database and send the information to clients
- Conduct research to learn more about client’s market and fill-out the company’s strategic profile questionnaires
- Make appointments for client representatives
- Invite decision-makers to marketing seminars
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in business prospecting (pre-sales, outbound calls)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bilingual - written and spoken (an asset for ensuring a variety of projects, working on projects outside of Quebec, etc.)
- Ability to listen actively, persuade and be assertive
- Excellent computer knowledge (databases, Office suite: intermediate Word and Excel)
- Basic IT knowledge (an asset for working on a variety of projects)
- Solid understanding of the general structure of a business (an asset)
- Ability to converse easily and confidently when discussing business affairs with company leaders
- Ability to multitask and adapt to change
- College or Bachelor degree in Marketing, Administration, Computer Science or any equivalence
DESIRABLE SKILLS FOR TELEPROSPECTING IN IT COMPANIES
Basic understanding of the following IT solutions: collaboration tools, data storage, telephony, e-commerce, document management, high network dependability, website hosting, ERP, CRM, SCM.
